Build Real Language Fluency

Master speaking through active recall workouts

Fluency Gym helps you speak Spanish, German, French and English fluently. Retell your study material in three rounds while the cues fade from 100% to 70% to 30%, until the sentences are yours.

How Fluency Gym Works

1. Input Real Language

Paste real texts—articles, conversations, or content you care about. Our smart targeting identifies words that will actually improve your fluency level.

2. Work Out Your Brain

Three rounds of progressively harder recall exercises build true language fluency. Your brain doesn't just memorize—it learns to produce language naturally.

3. Measure Real Growth

Track your progress with learning streaks and export your insights. Consistent daily practice builds lasting fluency and confidence.

Why It Actually Works

✓

Scientifically Proven Method

Active recall is one of the most effective learning techniques, proven to strengthen memory retention better than passive review.

✓

Builds Real Fluency

Active recall forces your brain to retrieve language from memory, not just recognize it. This strengthens your ability to produce language naturally in real conversations.

✓

Privacy-First Design

All data stays in your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no servers. Your learning data is completely private.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fluency Gym free?

Fluency Gym is free with no usage limits through November 30, 2026. Subscription plans start after that.

How is active recall different from memorizing word lists?

Active recall forces retrieval instead of re-reading: you try to produce the word or sentence first, then check. That is the mechanism that builds fluency, while word lists mostly build recognition.

Which languages are supported?

Spanish, German, French and English, with CEFR-based word parsing for each.

Who Builds This

Fluency Gym is built by Ellen Zhang Yarong, a software developer who moved to Spain five years ago. After trying many ways to practice spoken Spanish, she found a method that finally worked and built it into an app to help other learners speak with confidence. Contact: hola@fluencygym.work
